The Wedding Crashers

Its a done deal - Benzi and Pnina got hitched and what a wedding it was - brilliant atmosphere, energy and spirit. The Chuppah was at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel, out on a podium that provided views all the way across Jerusalem...and if you looked close enough to Jordan as well.

Benzi has set-up his own Facebook link of photos and we're still compiling ours, so start with a few Facebook snaps / Benzi's links below we'll and go from there

We danced like energizer-battery-bunny's and pretty much collapsed afterwards like Varta-battery-charged dolls (that was not an endorsed comment). There's something to be said for attempting Chabad-inflected-reggae moves on the dancefloor with your mates whilst wearing a formal suit that doesn't give much in the shoulders....That was the other thing, great music which kept pace with our BPM...an amazing night!

  • Aaaahhhhhhhhhh........theres nothing like a wedding to top off a great holiday, the love that pervades the room is magical ( I am trying to sound all deep and introspective). Are weddings in Israel subjected to the cliched "joke" by the rabbi about it being the last time the man gets to put his foot down??? Its an oldie but a classic isnt it? surely the rabbi must know everyone has heard that joke a dozen times and it wasnt that funny the first time so why should things have changed, maybe its all in the delivery, or maybe I am just a really unfunny guy, who knows.

Speaking of funny, not much to report from here, just livin off da hook (as usual).

Zvi on the dance floor is one of my favourite sights, as soon as your feet touch the parquetry you are transformed into a 20yr old black rapper who has danced his way out of the ghetto and has won the heart of a white uptown girl (nicole) and opened her eyes to a different way of life and style of dance (hold on isnt this the story line of save the last dance, or one o those other crappy movies?) I digress, the point is you dance from "here" (pointing at my heart - like the judges say on so you think you can dance) and you own the stage/floor and your style is raw yet honest. however I beleieve that reggae style is not your strongest style and belive you should stick to Krump, Popping or the Viennese Waltz.

Anyway I had better go to work. Thanks for the loan car it does great burn outs and I have pimped your ride so too speak with some 22" spinning alloys and blue neon lights under the car, a big mofo spoiler and some kick ass trims.
